70’s Central University of Venezuela

Over 90 artworks as murals, sculptures, stained glass windows and phones are part of the University City of Caracas, which since 2000 is on the World Heritage list of UNESCO. The Central University of Venezuela (UCV in Spanish: Universidad Central de Venezuela), founded in 1721, is considered one of the most important Venezuelan higher level educational institutions. It is a public, national and autonomous university. It was the first university founded on Venezuelan territory and one of the first in Latin America. The university's main campus, the University City of Caracas, designed by architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva, since 2000 is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
